Returns, Damage & Exchanges
We really hope you love all of our stuff as much as we do!
Our returns policy means that you can return anything to us in an unused and perfect condition within 200 days of receipt with the original packaging at no cost to you
*Our free returns policy does not apply for non mainland UK or International orders. (exclusions apply to these, please see full terms for more information)*
However, if your goods arrive in an imperfect condition, the following Consumer Contract Regulation Act comes into force.
Consumer Contract Regulation regarding Goods Returns and Cancellations (2013)
The Consumer Contracts Regulations give you a cancellation period that starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods.
You then have a further 14 days from the date you notify the retailer that you'd like to cancel your order to return the goods
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING PACKING
We do not accept returns without the original packaging and all returns must be in an unused condition. If items are returned outside of these terms there will be
a restocking and reboxing charge of which will be deducted from the refund amount. This amounts to 15% of the products purchase value.
Melody Maison reserves the right to review further restocking fee if the product is in a heavily used condition.
INFORMATION REGARDING REFUNDS AND SHIPPING
We aim to refund you within five working days of the item arriving back with us at our warehouse. We request you wait at least 5 days after returning your goods, before contacting Customer Services for further support.
Any additional delivery charges for day of choice/next day delivery will also not be refunded.
*Should you return an item from an order where you have multiple products and the returned item takes the original order total below the £100 needed to qualify for free/discounted delivery the £4.95 shipping cost will be withheld from your refund amount. This also applies to returns which are the customers own choice, which are below £100 and has paid shipping, you will only receive the refund for the product*
RETURNS MADE EASY
For return of items weighing upto 20kg with packaging measurements upto 61cm x 46cm x 46cm, these can easily be returned to us in their original packaging via the Post Office using the below returns label at no cost to you. (Please keep your proof of postage receipt until you have been refunded)

COURIER COLLECTIONS
For larger items such as: dressing tables, chests of drawers etc please call our customer service team and we will arrange our carrier to collect from you.
If a collection is arranged for you on an agreed date and this goes on to fail due to you not being home or not leaving in the advised safe place, There will be a charge deducted from your refund for a new collection to be booked (£10.00).
EXEMPTIONS
Seconds Items
Please be aware our seconds listed items are exempt from the standard returns policy as these are sold as seen and returns are not accepted.
Third Party Couriers
If you use an onward courier not employed by ourselves, we cannot accept liability for damaged items, unless reported damaged by your courier to our courier at the point of receipt from our courier.
If you choose to use an onward courier (for example if you live overseas) please make sure you take out full insurance on your items to cover potential loss or damage.
Christmas Decorations Return
Christmas Decorations can not be returned if outside of the 14 day reporting window and after December 20th if in a used condition
Flatpack and Assembly Required Products
*All products which are either Flatpacked or require some assembly, must be quality defect and damage inspected by the customer before attempting ANY
assembly and customer services must be notified of any defects within 28 days.*
Returns will become VOID, if partially or fully assembled.
However, if you have begun or completed assembly, and you identify a clear manufacturing error, please contact our customer services team for further support
